  1. Caution: This article is not to provide justification for our Sisters to get married without the permission and consent of their Wali (guardian). Rather, we advise Sisters who have Wali (guardian) unreasonably preventing them from fulfilling half of their religion to refer the matter to Islamic Scholars or Islamic Shariah councils and let a Mufti or a Scholar from a Shariah council and let them consider the situation and act as Wali (if necessary) and give them in marriage. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate academically that some leeway in the Hanafi School of thought on the matter of marriage without wali (consent) is not without evidence. Due to the sensitivity of the subject, we advise (again) that although leeway does exist our Sisters should opt to consult Islamic Scholars on the matter and let them rule on their individual circumstances and act as their Wali. Please proceed to read the evidence of the Hanafi School of thought once you have understood the position and rationale behind this article. Following are some contacts for our Sisters to consult Islamic Scholars and have the Ulama rule on their individual circumstances and assist (if necessary); at the very least local Imam (or local Mosque) should be consulted. Nikah should be publicised and officially endorsed, please also read out detailed article on marriages. 2. Introduction Verbs & Methodology: In this chapter we introduce the student to Arabic verbs, Insha’Allah. These lessons are primarily based on the book of Shaykh (Dr) Husain Abdul Sattar (HA) and then gradually advance to higher levels. Insha’Allah it is intended that this single page will teach the student which is usually taught to an average Darul-uloom student as far as the science of Arabic verb conjugation is concerned. In the traditional Darul-uloom system (in India) an average student was expected to recite each table 5 times (in one minute) without breaking his breath! You MUST MASTER these tables through sheer practise and pick up speed to the point where your mind is on “Auto-Pilot” and conjugating at the speed of lightening; there is NO short-cut! The modern students (of today) severely lack the skills to recite and decipher classical text on the fly which inhibits their levels of understanding. The classical system of reciting, reciting and reciting these tables until you can do so on “Auto-Pilot” still works. Shaykh Abul-Hasan Ali Nadwi (RA) who is considered as one of the Masters of Arabic language of our times used to say that the student should not move on UNLESS & UNTIL he can recite a table of a given verb 5 times (in one minute) without breaking his breath! Test yourself against the method given by one of the Masters of the Arabic language. http://www.central-mosque.com/index.php/Arabic/gateway-to-arabic-verbs.html
  3. More imortant is to please inform of errors or improvments or stuff which has been missed. Please feel free to say what needs to be added... While doing research I found that many Salafi sites translate Mujahireen as Muhajireen in the Hadeeth about disclosing sins which is pretty hilarious :P The best translation (used) is from Shaykh Faraz Rabbani (HA)'s Canadian site. Google that Hadeeth and enjoy the DIY translation (butchering of the Hadeeth) :) المجاهرين as Muhajireen...Hmm

  5. The following article gives a brief summary into the cult known as the "Aga Khanees" or the followers of His Highness (Prince) Karim Aga Khan (IV) and the key differences in their believes, practices, acts of worship to Islam & Muslims Who or what are Ismaili Shias & the Aga Khanees?http://central-mosque.com/index.php/Beliefs/aga-kahnees.html Jazakallahu Khayran
  6. Too tired after months of research on this topic and can't get the accurate translation of the Fatwa of Shaykhul-Hind (RA) so will translate when the brain recovers!
  7. Introduction Academically in the Hanafi Madhab, two opinions exist with regards to the prayer of someone following an Imam (in prayer) and these are summarised as follows: Is the prayer of the Muqtadi (follower) evaluated and deemed to be valid according to the principles of Madhab of the Muqtadi (follower) i.e. the Hanafi Madhab? Is the prayer of the Muqtadi (follower) evaluated and deemed to be valid according to the principles of Madhab of the Imam (leader) i.e. whichever Madhab he is following? Academic discussions are meant to broaden the horizons of research and enable hearts and minds to come closer. However, due to rightly guided pious Islamic Scholars articulating their position and issuing Fatwaas based on position 1 many (laymen) have lashed against their position being narrow-minded and for them to have a sectarian agenda. These Scholars are fulfilling the trust (upon them) by conveying what they believe to be the strongest position of their (respective) Madhab. We believe that the other position (2) of the Hanafi Madhab has not been sufficiently articulated on the Internet and hope that the gap will be fulfilled by this brief treatise on the subject. In our discussions and research all Ulama are vehemently against division (of Muslims) and sectarianism. The differences between Madhahib should be placed in their Academic context and viewed accordingly. http://central-mosque.com/index.php/Acts-of-Worship/hanafi-another.html

  10. Saudi Government: Deobandees need to wake up! Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi, Since 1926, the sacred land of the believers is being run by a filthy band of robbers and bandits. Allah (SWT) has blessed these lands with oil and other natural resources but the blessings of Allah (SWT) are being wasted on criminal and forbidden activities like drinking, gambling, and womanizing. The centres of Haraam in the west has been flowing with money from these robbers and bandits. They usurp the wealth of the Ummah and waste it at the feet of call girls in western cities. The proliferation of expensive hotels in Makkah and Madina has resulted in sky rocketing of Hajj and Umrah costs and the Government employees treat Hajees like cattle at airports and immigration checkpoints. Turn on your TV in Makkah and every filth imaginable is available right in your hotel room, across the Haram Shareef. Look at your hotel menu and you will meat from around the world with no care and attention to the laws of Shariah. Walk outside your hotel and you find Victoria’s secret and other filthy lingerie. The palaces of the kings, expensive flats and stupid clocks (imitating cities of the west) tower the minarets of the sacred house of Allah (SWT). Old men, women and those of feeble health of the Ummah of Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) get beat up by security personnel while making Tawaf around the house of Allah (SWT). But the greatest crime of the filthy band of robbers and bandits ruling the sacred lands of the believers (and their poodle Scholars for Dollars) is to sabotage efforts for establishing the Deen of Allah (SWT). Whether its Tableeghi Jamaat, Jihad, Jamia Hafasa or Al-Ikhwanul-Muslimeen no one is free from the “Fatwa passing” of these “rented donkeys” masquerading as Islamic Scholars. Alhumdolillah, that the filth being propagated from the members of Haram towards President (Hafidh) Morsi and Al-Ikhwanul-Muslimeen has woken up the Scholars from around the world in condemnation of this filthy regime and its actions. We ask all Muslims to wake up to the crimes of these bandits and Fear Allah (SWT). Sayyidina Mahdi (AS) will emerge and DISMANTLE the rule of these bandits and we ask Allah (SWT) to give the realisation to the believers to ensure that they side with the Haqq and not the Baatil (Ameen). These talks are long so we have summarised some of the points and Insha'Allah at some point will translate in FULL, a few main points are as follows: The Holy lands of the Muslims should be referred to as "Jazeeratul-Arab" which is its name in the Qur'aan and Sunnah and history. Usury, interest and all such FILTH should be removed from Jazeeratul-Arab Alcohol, gambling, prostitution, womenising and all such FILTH should be removed from Jazeeratul-Arab Wasting of Ummah's money, resources indulging in Haram of the family of bandits and robbers should be removed from Jazeeratul-Arab The citadels of Jews and multi-national corporations (Hotels, Shops, Markets) should be removed from Jazeeratul-Arab Hajj is an Islamic act of worship which has been turned into a carnival of shopping and tourism!!! Hajj should be returned to its sprituality and essence
  11. Asslamo Allaikum Sister, That’s because Madhab isn’t a sect. A sect is something with a fundamental creedal (Aqeedah based) difference and the four (4) Madhabs have effectively the same set of beliefs. They differ in some practical aspects e.g. should Ameen be uttered loudly or silently during Salah. Whether you utter Ameen loudly or silently, it neither takes a person out of Islam nor condemns them to heresy; both opinion are valid and proven from Qur’aan and Hadeeth. Please read the text above and come back with any further queries and will be happy to help, Insha’Allah.

  14. W-Salam, Its not a Hadeeth but reference from books of Fiqh. Translation for first one for you as follows because they are similar: ومن أحكامه أنه لا يقوم إلى القضاء قبل التسليمتين بل ينتظر فراغ الإمام بعدهما لإحتمال سهو على الإمام فيصبر حتى يفهم أنه لا سهو عليه إذ لو كان لسجد (البحر الرائق And from the injunctions (commandments) it is that he does not stand to make up for the missed (part of prayers) until the two Salams but that he waits for the Imam to complete (the prayer) and then completes the prayer (afterwards). It is because there is a chance that the Imam may have forgotten (something) so he should remain patient until it is ascertained that there is no forgetfulness for which prostration needs to be performed [bahrur-Raqaiq 1/140]
It was narrated from Sayyidina Ma’qil ibn Yasaar (RA) that the Prophet (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) said: “Whoever says three times each morning, ‘A’oodhu Billaah il-samee’ il-‘aleem min al-shaytaan il-rajeem (I seek refuge with Allaah the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, from the accursed Shaytaan), and recites the last three verses of Soorat al-Hashr, Allaah will send seventy thousand angels to send blessings upon him until evening comes, and if he dies on that day he will die a martyr. And whoever says that in the evening, will be given a similar status.[Tirmidhi] This hadeeth is daily recommendation is the Silsila of Shah (Hakeem) Akhtar Saheb (RA).

  20. The father of Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari, Maulana Adam (HA) said in his Majlis 2 nights ago: A dream was seen regarding the Shuhadaa'. The mother was dressed in green (Sign of Jannah and a great sign of glad tidings if colour green is seen in a dream), and all the three children were dressed in white (Another sign of Jannah and glad tidings if white colour is seen), and all of them were very happy, saying that today is our 'Eid. Hadhrat said their bodies may be here, all deceased and lifeless, but what is happening to them and their souls behind the scenes is something else. The purpose isn't their bodies. Their life in the hereafter has nothing to do with their bodies of this life (A temporary packaging, a container for where our souls are kept in this life), rather, whilst their bodies are kept here in this world, they and their souls are in the Aakhirah enjoying themselves for eternity. SubhaanAllah ...
  21. Advice to my “online” daughter! Introduction: Dear Daughter, Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh It seems like just yesterday when you were taking your first steps and trying to walk. You tried to stand and then fell down with a thump so many times but you kept trying and eventually you took your first steps. Alhumdolillah, I was proud of you then and I am proud of you now. My daughter, you have all grown up but the challenges you faced when you were learning to walk and the challenges you face now, remain. Their nature may have changed, their severity hasn’t. Yesterday when you fell on your back while trying to stand wasn’t anything major and you were able to stand again. Today, when you fall on your back it may not be so easy for you to get up and walk again because the injuries may be to your soul and to your Eeman; so watch out! My daughter, I bought you a phone and laptop for your personal use because I trust you will use them conscientiously and that Allah Ta'aala will guide you in your decisions when doing so, I still fear Shaytaan's meddling and fear for your innocence. You will forever be "my little daughter" and nothing will change that. No matter how many times I am told how you are all grown up now, as your father I will always be protective and look out for you. I can't help it so forgive the silliness of this old man! I love you and I care dearly about you. I was there when you were born, I called the Adhan in your ear, and I took you home on your first day; so, I can't help it... By Allah! I can't help but to look out for you! We may have some differences of opinion and Allah (SWT) has given you the right to an opinion and to exercise it. Despite our disagreements, I will NEVER stand in your way but I would want you to go about taking decisions the right way. Shura (consultation): My daughter, you have the right to make your decision but if you make those decisions based on the commandments of Allah (SWT) and the noble Sunnah of Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) then the Barakah and blessings of Allah (SWT) will be part of your decision and will enrich your life. [42:38] and those who have responded to their Lord (in submission to Him), and have established Salah, and whose affairs are (settled) with mutual consultation between them, and who spend out of what We have given to them, But in order to consult, you need to know who to consult with! My daughter, Allah (SWT) has commanded us to refer our matters to Scholars (Ulamah) and no aspect of our life as a Muslim is absolved from this commandment. [16:43] So, ask the people (having the knowledge) of the Reminder (the earlier Scriptures), if you do not know. You have trusted your father for so long and it is most appreciated but in order for you to move ahead in your Dunya and hereafter you need to learn to think for yourself. I won’t be around forever and I advise you to ascertain the credibility of the Ulamah and Mashaykh whom you consult. Not everyone who is active on an Islamic forum or has millions of hits on facebook or appears persuasive on youtube can be trusted. Not everyone who can write eloquently or speak fluently is trustworthy. Refer your matters to Ulamah and Mashaykh who are trusted by “other Ulamah and Mashaykh”. This Deen of Allah (SWT) was revealed upon Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) through the noble and trusted Sayyidina Gibrael (AS) and then it was transmitted to the Sahaba (RA) and then onwards until it has reached us. We have ensured that we have acquired it from noble Ulamah and Mashaykh, men and women of trustworthiness and Taqwa who were (and are) trusted in their times by notable, credible and authentic Ulamah and Mashaykh of our times. Facebook, twitter, youtube, WhatsApp Islamic forums don’t change the rules of seeking Deen. Sacred knowledge was in the hearts of men, then it moved into books, and the keys to these books are in the hands of scholars (rijal). This implies the necessity of acquiring knowledge from the people who master it. My daughter, know that authentic knowledge will be taken away by the passing of sincere Ulamah and Mashaykh and that misguided fools will take over in their place. These fools will be utterly misguided and they will misguide! Truly, Allah does not remove Sacred Knowledge by taking it out of servants, but rather by taking back the souls of Islamic scholars [in death], until, when He has not left a single scholar, the people take the ignorant as leaders, who are asked for and who give Islamic legal opinion without knowledge, misguided and misguiding [bukhari] My advice would be incomplete if I didn't leave you with the details of some Ulamah and Mashaykh who are trusted by other Ulamah and Mashaykh and whom you can contact for guidance. It is our duty as Muslims to propagate goodness. You should use your online skills to propagate and publicize information and Insha'Allah it will add to your treasure of rewards for the hereafter. Importantly, whoever finds this beneficial will remember you in their duas. 1 Shaykh (Mufti) Zubair Dudha (HA): Email him through the site or ring him on +44-(01924)450-422 between the hours of 17:00-19:00 Monday through Friday. 23. May Allah (SWT) reward our Sister (Ameen). What I like about her is not only she wore the Niqaab but she has disappeared from the Media completely (Ahumdolillah) , she is from close to where my family lives and she doesn’t appear in the Masjids or media or nothing. Married and with her husband and kids, Job done! No one knows her in Florida state and she doesn't make speeches or nothing. People are still quoting her story from 6 years ago! She is happy with her modest life (Ahumdolillah)
