Asslamo Allaikum Sister LOVE ISLAM,

 

These 3 categories of Tawheed are controversial as the Salaf didn't categorize the Tawheed into 3 and this is what one group of Ulamah state. The others (who categories it such a manner) respond that its a linguistic categorization rather then a technical categorization.


In my humble opinion, Muslims should simply affirm their belief in Tawheed of Allah (SWT) and refrain from in-depth technical Aqeedah discussions which are divisive and lead to dispute.

Belief is a matter of the heart and the Sahaba (RA) worked on their Eeemaan (which is vital for salvation) and not on technical categorizations and divisions.

I wrote this over 3 years and have yet to find someone who disagrees with it.

When you read classical Islamic literature there is almost no entensive debates and discussions on Aqeedah because its a straightforward matter.
