Action, re-Action and the Laws of Nature

By Mohammad Rafique Etesame

This is a universal truth that every action has its re-action. It means “if it is so, then it will be so. And this has two parts first one is a condition or term,” If it is so,” and second one is its reward “then it will be so,” in its re-action. It means if the first one is found, then the second one will surely be found.

For example, if someone serves his parents, he will be well-wished, if he teases them, he will be cursed, if someone touches the fire, he will be burnt, if he handles the ice, he will be cold, if he eats poison, he will die, if he drinks water, it will quench his thirst, and if he eats the meal, it will satisfy his hunger. Similarly, if someone obeys Allah’s commandment, he will be granted good reward and if he commits sins, infidelity or shirk, he will be punished, and if he repents, he will be forgiven his sins etc.

All these re-actions or consequences, are not automatically or by themselves, but due to

Allah’s commandment. The holy Qur’an reveals,” The decision is for Allah only. He tells the truth and He is the Best of Deciders” ﴾ Surah Anam57﴿.

These are some examples of the action and re-action, and these are according to that, “as you sow, so shall you reap”.

Infect, this is Allah’s way or His laws that can never be changed; as it is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, Such has been God’s way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God’s way!” (Al-Ahzab 33:62).

As we know that every government has its constitution and a penal code for the citizens. And according to it, the honorable Judges decide the cases and If they find someone violates the Laws of his country, then they order to arrest him and then he will be dealt according to the law.

Similarly, this universe is Allah’s ‘country’ and He is the absolute Master, the powerful King of His regime having no partner in His sovereignty.

He created man kind for His worship and made a constitution or way of life for him, the Holy Qur’an makes mention, “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favor unto you, and have chosen for you as religion AL-ISLAM.(Il-Maidah:3).

These verses revealed at the day when the holy Prophet PBUH delivered a farewell sermon of his last pilgrimage (خطبة  الوداع Friday the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah).

According to these verses ‘the constitution’ of Allah’s Regime is only Islam and no other religion will be excepted, as the holy Qur’an reveals, “And whoso seeks as religion other than the Surrender (to Allah i.e. Al-Islam), it will not be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter.” (Family of Imran: 85).

He gave the warning to man that if he obeys the orders of Allah, then he will be awarded Paradise, and if he violates this constitution, then he will be thrown in the Hell-fire. Allah Almighty will set up a “Highly authorized Supreme Court” at the Day of Resurrection and He will be the Chief Justice of it and will decide the cases according to Islam.

These decisions at the Day of Judgment will be infect, the re-action of man's good or bad actions that had been done in this world.

As it is mentioned before that those who violate and disobey this constitution i.e. the infidels or mushriks, they will be arrested and be punished at the Day of Resurrection as the holy Qur’an

reveals,” The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feat. Which is it, of the favors of your Lord, that ye deny? This is Hell which they go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water” (The Beneficient: 45).

On the other hand, those who accept Islam and surrender themselves, so the holy Qur’an reveals about them,” (And) those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow, wherein they dwell forever. Allah has pleasure in them and they have pleasure in Him. (This is (in store) for him who fears his Lord. (Al-Bayyenah: 8)

So, it is necessary for everyone to obey all the commandments of Allah Almighty according to the good example of the holy Prophet (Mohammad)PBUH and do good actions so that he may get the immense reward for their ‘re-actions’ and pass a successful life forever.
