  1. What must one do if troubled by disturbing thoughts in salaah? Q: I experience wasaawis (whispers of shaitaan) in salaah. What is the cure for it? A: This is like the situation where you wish to visit a friend who has invited you. However, his dog is obstructing the path and is barking at you. Now, there is one of three methods that you may adopt in this situation: (1) To turn away. If you will turn away the dog will continue barking resulting in other dogs also barking. There is also the possibility that whilst running away you might trip and fall resulting in another disaster.
