How long can a mother breastfeed her child?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

 

The maximum time period for breast feeding is two lunar[1] years[2].
