Real Beauty Comes From Within

pink window.jpg

Next time you look in the mirror, instead of asking Allah to increase your beauty, ask him to beautify your Iman. True beauty is not that of looks, rather, real beauty comes from within your heart, and only Allah can fill it with light! (idealwoman.org)

Keep Striving For The Bigger Plan

Keep-Striving-275x160.jpg

Sometimes Allah puts you through pain, so He can test you to see if this brings you closer to Him. If it brings you closer to Him, then your reward in the hereafter is going to make all the pain you had to endure in this world seem very insignificant. Keeping striving and don’t let the small distractions of this world lead you astray!

Allah is Great!

dua1.jpg

Sometimes Allah seems distant, but in reality He is very close. The distance may be in spiritual terms, Allah with his infinite wisdom is teaching us patience and is building our character. Even though most of the time we become distant to Allah with our actions, He is always very near in forgiveness and guidance. Allahu Akhbar!!!

Be this kind of Muslimah

awesome_land_.jpg

“Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve wronged you. Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become. Think positively, no matter how hard life is. Give much, even if you’ve been given little. Keep in touch with the ones who have forgotten you, and forgive who has wronged you, and do not stop praying for the best for those you love.” idealwoman.org

Answer Anger with Sweetness

heart - love.jpg

If the husband becomes angry and abusive, never react in the same way. If both husband and wife end up exchanging harsh words, then this results in a very bitter end. When both vent their anger and become abusive, pride and stubbornness overcomes them. Neither of them is then prepared to accept their fault and ask for forgiveness. However if the wife replies to the husband’s anger with sweetness and kindness, then most definitely when he does cool down, he will realise his mistake and he will ask for forgiveness. Sweetness invites sweetness, whereas anger adds fuel to the fire of anger.

Why dig up the Past?

digging.jpg

While the disagreements and fights that take place amongst women may not be of a violent nature, they indeed become very prolonged affairs. Their displeasure and ill feelings continue for an extended period of time. What makes matters even worse is the habit of women to dig up the past. Issues which were resolved and forgotten a long time ago are brought up again. As a result a small issue becomes a major problem, especially when past events are recalled and mentioned in harsh and heart - piercing words. To rub salt in the wound she will then also remind the husband of all the favours and good she did for him. All this is done only to please one’s nafs (carnal desire) and shaytaan. It is time we suppress our words of anger and please our most loving Allah Ta‘ala. (Uswatulmuslimah.co.za)

Beautiful is She....

purple_rose-150x150.jpg

Beautiful, is she, who loves for the sake of Allah.
Beautiful, is she, who walks in humility.
Beautiful, is she, who strives for piety.
Beautiful, is she, who aims for the stars.
Beautiful, is she, who loves to learn.
True beauty comes not from her appearance but rather comes from within.
Beautiful, is her mind, heart, and soul…….

Words of Inspiration

gratitude1.jpg

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember what you have now was once among the things you only hoped for.

All the water in the ocean could never sink a ship unless the water gets inside. Likewise, all the pressures of life can never hurt you unless you let it in. (idealwoman.org)

The Ideal Woman

red rose.jpg

The ideal woman is the balance in society. She is the pivot of humanity. Her uprightness and soundness causes
the society to be upright and sound. She is a treasure for the husband, a fortune for the children, a jewel for the parents and a blessing for humanity. Great men have been nurtured in the lap of such women.

As the famous saying states, “Behind every successful man there is a woman.”

Hand Yourself over

The fashions and trends of the day are always changing. The creation of Allah Ta’ala never changes. Human beings are not changed to look like birds, and flowers are not changed to look like leaves.

The trends and fashions of the world are man-made and therefore deficient. Hence those who follow the ever changing western way of life are found to be always dissatisfied, without direction and focus. They will always be out-of-date and trying to keep up with the fast, ever-changing material world.

We need to simply hand over ourselves to the perfection of Islam.

The Queen

crown.png

Islam has considered and appreciated the differences between men and women  and has therefore honoured women with a role that is suitable to them.

The West has insulted women in trying to transform them into men. How can a butter knife do the job of a chain saw? Women have been deceived with slogans of freedom and equality. In reality they have been forced into slavery and oppression. The world offers slogans of lies whereas Islam delivers goods in reality.

Tired?

Energy Booster

subhanallah alhamdulillah allahuakbar calgraphy.jpg

Once Faatimah (radiyallahu anha) had requested Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) for a slave (servant) to assist her with all the difficult chores of the home. Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said to her and Ali (radiyallah anhu): “Should I not show you something better than what you asked for? When you retire to your bed, recite Subhanallah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu-Akbar 34 times. This is better for you than a servant” (Saheeh Bukhari #3705).

Faatimah (radiyallahu anha) was the beloved daughter of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). She is the leader of all the women of paradise. Despite all her virtue she never took it as below her dignity to carry out the domestic work. She used to grind the grain herself which caused corns on her hand. She carried water for the house in a leather bag which left a mark on her chest.  She cleaned the house herself which made her clothes dirty (Sifatus Safwah vol. 1, pg. 310).

Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) taught her these tasbeehaat instead of providing her a servant to help her. The Scholars of hadeeth deduce from this that the recitation of these tasbeehaat before going to bed, apart from the spiritual benefit, will be a means of gaining physical strength which will make it easy for one to accomplish one’s daily tasks.

From the time that Ali (radiyallah anhu) was given this prescription, he says that he never missed reciting them a single night, even on the night of a severe battle when he was the commander of the army (Saheeh Muslim #6917).

Let us also practice on this. Recite these tasbeehaat every night and derive the immense benefits in this world and the hereafter.

Idleness

lantern.jpg

Hadhrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (Rahmatullahi Alayhi) states:

”Safety lies in ensuring that you are not idle. Be involved in some activity, even if it is a worldly occupation provided that it is lawful. At all times, occupation is better than idleness. When a man (Or woman) is idle, Shaytaan settles on him (her). The best occupation is the Suhbat of an Arif (the special companionship with a lover of Allah). If one is without an occupation, then sleep is better than idleness” (Malfoodhaat, Vol.2, Pg.60, YMA) idealwoman.org

alhamdulillah with heart.jpg

From the malfoozaat of Shaykh Ashraf Ali Thãnwi ®

Shah Abdul Quddoos (rahmatullah alayhi) passed his days in great poverty. When his wife became restless because of hunger, he would placate her by saying: "Fear not. In Jannat the most delicious and sumptuous dishes are being prepared for us." By the fadhl of Allah, his wife taqwa was of such high caliber that this statement would reassure and satisfy her. Behind every successful man is a woman!

"Behind every successful man who devotes his time to serving the Deen, is a woman.

She encourages him and supports him, takes care of the children and the household,

she serves his ageing parents and his guests,

and she is content with whatever little he can provide"

Shaykh Muhammad Saleem Dhorat (Hafizahullah)
