Fasts End At Sunset

Recommended Posts

Guest UMMI TAALIB

Fasts of Ramadhaan begin at dawn and end at sunset during which it is compulsory to refrain from food, drink and intimate relations on the commands of Allah subhaanahu wata’ala.

There is however another fast which begins on attaining Buloogh (puberty) and for reverts from the moment they revert to Islam, and ends at death. This is the fast of Islam where it is compulsory for one to follow many commands and to abstain from all disobedience of Allah subhaanahu wata’ala and to leave this world in the state of Imaan looking forward to the meeting with Allah subhaanahu wat’ala.
