‘Umar Ibn ‘Abdil-‘Azeez (rahimahullah) said:

“Taqwaa is not fasting by day and standing for prayers by night. 
But taqwaa is to desert/leave what Allah has forbidden and to fulfill what He has commanded - and whoever puts forth goodness after that, then that is khair upon khair.”

Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal recorded from Muhammad bin Abi `Amirah, who was one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah . He said, 

=►❝If a servant fell down on his face (in prostration) from the day that he was born until the day he died as an old man, in obedience to Allah, he would scorn this act on the Day of Judgement. He would wish to be returned to this life so that he could earn more reward and compensation.❞

Ibn al-Dunya mentioned that the prophet Dawood (alayhi salam) asked Allah;"What is the least of your blessings?"

Allah revealed to him, "O Dawood, take a breath." Dawood did so,and Allah told him, "That is the least of My Blessings on you." ♥

Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"Verily, Allah helps a
just country even if it is a disbelieving one, and He does not help a
wrong-doing country even if it is a Muslim one. It is through justice that men
are made noble and wealth is made abundant."
