In loving memory of my father.

Recommended Posts

Bismillah

To you my dear father.

date of birth august 1948

day of death.

13.6.2009.

from your loving daughter safah,

i love you and always will miss you in every step of my life.

Dad...so many images come to mind

whenever I speak your name;

It seems without you in my life

things will never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days

when I was just a child;

When my life was consumed in you

in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times

when I always looked to you;

No matter what happened in my life

you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice

and turn to see your face;

Yet in my turning...it seems

the sound has been erased.

Dad, who will I turn to for answers

when life does not make sense;

Who will be there to hold me close

when the pieces just don't fit.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time

and once more hear your voice;

I'd tell you that out of all the dads

you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you

and no one can take your place;

Years may come and go

but your memory will never be erased.

YA Allah, i beg you to forgive my dad for his mistakes and grant him a place in jannah.ameen.

I love you dad always will,till death takes me away.

Your always loving daughter .

FIVE long months since my dear dad passed away, l dedicate this to him. l cherish the past we shared but miss the future we will not have

Wish You Were Here....

Five months have passed

I'll never forget the day

Someone rang to tell me

That you'd gone away

The hurt is the same

Like an open wound

There are days

I don't utter a sound

Some days the pain is stronger

It makes me sick and weak

I can't stand this much longer

I just sit here and weep

I've shut my private door

And let no one in

Locking myself in a box

They try, but I won't give in

You were like a rock

Strong, faithful and true

What worth has my life

Now I don't have you

I was your first born

Daddy's little girl.

Each day i remember the love you shared

the things you did,the way you cared

words unspoken,tears unseen wishing your absent dad was only a dream.

We all love and miss you so much, sleep well

and take care of all who went before you.

Always in my heart.

your loving and caring daughter.xxx

Asalamu'alaikum

sis , try to make this dua for dad as taguht in holy Quran.

لرَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

"My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young."

Al-Isra verse 24

Bismillah

Today 1 year has passed,we love and miss you dad each and every day.

We're never ready to say goodbye

To someone we hold dear.

If it were up to us, dear Dad,

We'd always keep you here.

But God has reasons of His own

And plans we cannot know,

And these are always for our good,

Though it may seem not so.

Our arms are empty and our hearts

Are filled with tears and grief,

For we who loved each day with you,

Now find those days too brief.

Yet if we could only heaven see,

We'd know you're happy there,

And we would never call you back

When such great joy you share.

And so we'll trust you to God's great care

And know some day, once more,

We'll hold you to our hearts again

When we reach heaven's shore.

Your children and mum misses you each and every day, dad..we love you with all our hearts.

rest in peace..ameen.

“If a human dies, then his good deeds stop except for three: a Sadaqa Jariah (continuous charity), a beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” – Sahih Muslim

So insallah..Sister any good deed done is Sadaqa

Asalamu'alaikum

Why not you Sisters make something like (Sadaqa Jarea) for them ?

that would be so great and so good from you

I planted some fruit trees beside the grave of my beloved dad and grand ma. Will this be considered as Sadaqa Jarea ?

As sister Aminah and sister Safah said, you just make your intention that those are planted as a Sadaqa Jarea for them and In shaa ALLAH, those will be accepted and made thousands of mountains of Hasanat

And ALLAH knows best.

It is very hard yes, but with the time we find that more easy... Either to pray for them sometimes i ask Allah if there is any chance to forgive them for their ignorance to do it and to help me to pass those hard times... But for the one who are alive i ask him always to guide them the right way... I hope they will finish by to find the road of islam in their hearts... :( ... But Allah guide who he want to be guided... And i hope they will be part of it... Insh'allah..

Was same for me brother... And as you say people of today don't follow the bible anymore.... They are lost...:( ... But my parents and grand parents they always was believing in one God only ... That's why i always ask Allah if there is possibility to forgive them for their ignorance ... They haven't been guided (on the earth) and haven't see the signs He sent to them...

i can understand your pain,but we must remember,as all Muslims they believe in all prophets of Allah,we believe in Isa(as)jesus) so the last law of Allah is to believe in him and his last prophet(saw) if one dont believe in Muhammad(saw) as the last prophet,but only believe there is only one GOD,then their iman is not complete.and if your belief is not complete then you die as none muslim,even if you believe in one god.

I know they should believe in the prophets... But This is all i can do for them is to ask Allah sister, it does not make me to feel better... :( ... If i keep thinking they will be in hell it is too much hearting... :( ... It might be hard for a born muslim to understand that feeling but to us this is all we have ... HOPE... and this is all we can do ... PRAY Allah to forgive them if possible...

Allah know best...
