Duaa for Protection from Knowledge that Does Not Benefit

Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to make the following Duaa: “O Allah, I seek Your protection from such knowledge that does not benefit; and from a heart that does not have khushoo’ (at the time of carrying out ibaadat); and from a nafs that does not get satiated (and content, but rather always desires more of the world); and (I seek protection) from a duaa that is not answered.”

Those who get waswasa often should also recite the following as much as possible:

“I seek refuge in Allah from the rejected devil.”

“There is no power and no strength except with Allah”

“O Allah! Convert the whisperings of my heart into Your fear and rememberance and divert my will and courage to the performance of deeds that please You.”
