Ibn Qayyim RA said: Adam AS was taken out of Jannah, while he was in it. He was taken out because of a single sin that he did. And you are constantly doing sins, while outside of Jannah, yet hoping to enter Jannah.

قال ابن قيم رحمة الله عليه اخرج آدم من جنة وكان فيها اخرج منها بذنب واحد وانت مقيم على معاصي كثيرة وخارج الجنة وترج الجنة

All humans are dead except those who have knowledge; and all those

who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds; and

those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere;

and those who are sincere are always in a state of worry.

- Imam Shafi (rahimullah)

Asalamu'alaikum

"Truly in the heart there is a void that can not be removed except with the company of Allah.

And in it there is a sadness that can not be removed except with the happiness of knowing Allah and being true to Him.

And in it there is an emptiness that can not be filled except with love for Him and by turning to Him and always remembering Him.

And if a person were given all of the world and what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness."

-Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyya

Asalamu'alaikum

How many blind people would pay anything to be able to read the Qur’an,

how many deaf people would pay anything to be able hear the Azan,

You see; we’re very rich, :) but just not grateful… “

“And few of My servants are grateful.”

[Quran 34:13]

Asalamu'alaikum

”No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future.

Go easy on yourself, for the outcome of all affairs is determined by Allah’s decree.

If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come your way, but if it is yours by destiny,

you cannot flee from it.”

— Umar Ibn Khattab RA

Asalamu'alaikum

Taqwa alone is the criterion of greatness in the Sight of Allah

Allah says: “O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has Taqwa (God-consciousness, fearing Allah). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”

[soorah al-Hujurat (49): 13]

Abu Darda said: "Three make me laugh. Those that make me laugh are a person who puts his hopes in this worldly life while death pursues him, a person who is heedless of Allah while Allah is not heedless of him, and a person who always laughs while he does not know whether he has pleased Allah or angered Him."

(Collected by Ibn Al Mubarak)
