FORUM RULES - PLEASE READ AND REMEMBER THEM

These Rules Are Very Easy To Both Understand And Follow - Just So Long As ALL Members & Staff Read Them.

1) NO SCAMMING

It is forbidden to scam any member of this forum. If you tell someone that you will give something in return by a certain time period for work that has been done by that person(s) you promised and then you fail to keep to your word for giving help back in the agreed form - Your IP address will be Banned from this forum immediately!

NB: No matter how many times you try to log back in under alias usernames, you will never get back in.

2) NO SPAMMING

Posting of other un-Islamic urls is forbidden. All other sites like image hosting, web hosting should be in Link Heaven.

NB: You NOT allowed to have passwords for any downloaded/uploaded files, if the file doesn't have a password & u have posted a password only 2 advertise then it will cause that member concerned to get a warning and the post from that person(s) in question deleted.

3) NO FLAMING

It is strictly forbidden for any members to flame the other users, any issues with any threads and posts should be dealt with in the correct manner, by sending a PM (Private Messege) to a Global Moderator.

4) REQUESTING TO BE A MEMBER OF STAFF IS FORBIDDEN

If and when we are in need of any other staff of any level within this forum we will aproach whom we (Administrators) feel would best fit the role we have on offer, we do not work on a buddy up sytem, everyone within this forum are both respected and treated equally.

NB: Just because you are not a member of the staff does not mean that you are anything less to the staff themselves as there can only be a certain amount of staff within each catagory required for this site to run effectivly...presently we have enough Administators and Global Moderators, but when we are in need of any member for a suited role, we will PM you personally if we feel you are the "right choice" or set up sticky to get interested members to reply to explaining why "they" are best suited for the role being offered. (Members who have a zero (0) post count or less then ten (100) proper posts (Replies, etc not counted) will not be considered, so it is in your favor to get posting as fast as possible as you never know when we will be in need of another "Talented Future Senior Member"

5) FORUM AGE BRACKETS

Islamicteachings.org/ is aimed at a General Audience , falling in the age group from 13 and higher, So all posts should be made accordingly.

This include disallowment of Explicit, Vulgar Language, Drug Talk, Nudity, Porn, Praying On Members Because Of Their Age Or Gender And So Forth Is Strictly Forbidden.

6) NO MINI-MODDING

You are NOT allowed to "Mini-Mod. The Administation & The Global Moderator Teams would like to encourage and thank all members who feel something should be done regarding any concerns within this forum, so all that is need by yourselves is to just PM (Private Messege) us and we will take care of the rest, this is our job.

7) FORUM LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH

All Publicly displayed messages are limited to English only. (In Some Special Cases Arabic Can Be Used - But Only With Admin Concent) This includes posts, titles, signatures, other forms of public display. (If you are having trouble finding the correct English words to express yourself, due to English being a second language, please PM one of the Global Moderators to give you help with your language concerns)

NB: Any member who wishes to ignore this forum's language rules and continues to do anything on this forum in any language that is not English, you will receive a "Long Term Warning"

8) WARNING SYSTEM

A) Disobeying Members

Members who deliberately disobey the rules or have obviously not read the rules and ignorantly disobey them upon joining up will be Warned or Banned depending on what the Global Moderator or Administrator believes is the appropriate punishment.

B) Number Of Maximum Warnings That Can Be Given

Members can be Warned a maximum of three times. On the third time the member involved will be automatically Banned immediately.

C) Automatic Expiration Of A Warning

A Warning can have a time bomb unless you have been Banned. If a time bomb is set, your Warning will automatically expire after a certain number of days.

NB: If you believe you do not deserve the Warning please contact an Administrator explaining in full both sides of the unbiased story. Talking back to the Global Moderator or Administrator who issued you with the Warning in the first place with no sense of respect will lead to further "Long Term Warnings"

D) Topic Posting

All topics must contain a description.

E) Where A Topic Should Be Posted

Topics must be submitted to the relevant forums. Please read the forum descriptions before posting.

F) Topic Titles Must Be Descriptive

Examples:

GOOD: "Help Needed With Salat"

BAD: "HEEEEELP!"

G) Bumping Rules

Bumping is allowed provided that the reply has relevant information that is useful to the continuance of the topic. Short intervals of bumps is not allowed to bump the topic up onto the first page by the same person.

Example:

ALLOWED: A topic discusses a news event. The topic's discussion has died but there is new striking evidence to turn thoughts around. A reply with such information that is relevant and useful is allowed.

ALLOWED: Requests may only be bumped once every 48 hours since the last reply.

DISALLOWED: A one-liner reply with the words "lol".

DISALLOWED: Bumping topics continuously to get them up to the first few pages.

H) No Double Posting

Double posting of the same links may lead to a Warning, especially if you have your own independent topic for a set of links and yet still post the same links in related topics with the intention of gaining exposure or higher post counts.

All Administrators, Global Moderators, Muslimah Council Staff are to advertise this forum in every Halal way they can, even if it means donating and paying to advertise us on other forums and sites...please read below

I want our immediate focus to be now on advising as many out there on the net about our forum and if you need to pay a little for advertising then do it...i never like to ask anyone to pay for anything on this site, but i always pay for the domain and host renewals as too on other unforeseen costs that incur here, so if by asking you all now to pay a little to help then i think this is okay...most of us are adults who are in work or at least have husbands who are out working and can help with a donation of some type.

I have a PayPal account that anyone can donate into, just click on the donation icon at the top tab of our forum and make your payment...easy!

Well there are many ways you can advertise this forum...one is to go to other forums on the net (preferably Sunni based forums) and advertise us either with a link or by asking to have our forum banner on their site permanently of course offering to pay a fee for this to be done.

I can make banners to suit as we need the same look in our banner so people remember what our forum banner looks like.

As mentioned in another topic i can make a banner and have many on one page you can cut apart and hang up on a board at your local mosque or even university or anywhere they allow, as this is a great way to expose us to the wider community.

For men who are staff here, get up in front of the Jummah Prayer (after prayer is completed and even before if this is allowed at your mosque) and hand out little bits of paper with our site address on it and talk about our site and what it has to offer both the Muslim men and the Muslimah's plus the youth...advise of the benefits of what they can gain from joining up and tell them that they have a large amount of support from us here and that it is 24/7 support too!

If you have any Mosque activities or open days for non Muslims to come along then talk about our site...do all you can when you are in the mosque as this is a place where people are putting their focus on Allah (SWT) and for Allah (SWT) knows best of our Nyat (Intentions) to help others...

If you cannot donate immediately then save like $5.00 a week and see what you can amount in one month and donate monthly on behalf of you and your family...i donated recently $100.00USD

Most importantly people...BE PROUD OF OUR SITE AS I AM AND KNOW THAT WHOMEVER YOU GUIDE IN THIS LIFE WILL INSHA ALLAH GUIDE OTHERS AND SO ON...THIS SITE WILL CONTINUE WHEN WE ARE ALL DEAD SO WORK HARD TO KEEP BLESSINGS COMING TO YOU AND ALL YOU ARE INVOLVED WITH ON THIS SITE...

We need to ask ourselves on what we have done for this forum each day...if you advertise us in two different major places and keep an eye on those advertisements daily and help with any questions people have toward those advertisements then you will see large numbers of people coming here and becoming active.

I am tired of seeing just two staff trying to promote this site and other always complaining about why there are no members joining or being active...i grow so tired of this...so from here onwards it is in the staff rules to advertise this forum everywhere and to report back on where to me...and to reply this thread with what you have been doing each day to advertise us, there is no excuse anymore people and i will not just have staff posting only...being an Admin or Mod is a huge responsibility and part of those are to advertise our forum with a sense of pride.

Each day i expect to see new replies from each of you advising where you have advertised and on how you advertised...take this very seriously as most here are at home daily and as much as i know you are all busy with children there still is time to help...talk to your husbands about gaining some money to donate or use that money to advertise our forum....it does not need to be much money and you can advertise locally at first and then internationally afterward, whatever suits you best, try to get your husband/wife to our forum to show them what we are doing to help others...gain their trust and show them where the donation/advertising money is going to and advise them also of the huge benefits this will bring to them and to all whom come to our forum, plus to the people whom staff this site.

Failure to advertise or help in any way will result in the demotion of your account as we need keen and proactive staff only on this forum and nothing less to this for this site is built and maintained for the pleasure of Allah (SWT) alone.


Let me get this point straight with everyone, i did not make this topic to tell anyone off or to say anyone is in trouble or not helping enough, this topic serves as a reminder to us all on what we now need to do next in our forum and any advertising is good advertising and even if you have our link on the bottom of emails to your friends, ask them to forward those emails to their friends and so on and so on and make our link easy to see...add it at the top of your emails and at the bottom and even at the middle too...use the banner on our forum to do this so it is notices easily...just help in any way you can...

Again i am not having a go at anyone here, nor am i singling out anyone...we have all been working so hard and now it is time for us to move our focus onto advertising this forum from now onwards so to get more active members and to see members asking questions and helping out and of course spreading the word of this forum to all they know...

Please help me to make this forum a well known site on the net and a respected site too...posting is just not enough if we do not have the audience to see the topics we post...

Use your heads and find any way you can to promote our site...i have made this a new rule on the forum rules so i do expect all of you, including myself to help now...and if i were to see anyone just not caring at all for this then they will be demoted as on this site we need proactive staff whom want this forum to be the best...nothing less but the best![/b]

Anyone who is being hassled by another member is to advise the Global Moderator Team immediately with some form of proof showing us this, (Your proof coming from a Post or a Personal Message (PM) you may have received...stalking a member is prohibited and will result in being immediately banned from this site.
